Welcome to Wise Mountain Botanicals.  I'm Amy, certified herbalist, wild-crafter, field botanist and lover of all things wild and wise.  I started Wise Mountain Botanicals with the intention of inspiring people to invigorate and maintain their health with high quality herbs. Living in Mount Shasta, CA I am blessed to be surrounded by a beautiful landscape teeming with wild medicinal plants.  As an herbalist I am especially drawn to the healing power of wild plants. I strive to create all of my products with only fresh wildcrafted or organically grown herbs, locally sourced here in Mount Shasta and harvested at their peak potency. This makes for the most energetically potent and highest quality herbal remedies.

I specialize in creating single fresh herb extracts, compound herb formulas and herbal skin care products. I am also dedicated to the stewardship and protection of native plants through ethical and respectful practices. Sustainable harvest of the forests’ medicine is my first commitment as an herbalist. That's why I only harvest native plants that grow abundantly in their wild habitats throughout the mountains of northern California.
